Where traction coatings make the biggest difference

Wet stamped concrete around pools, polished or smooth-troweled patios, exterior steps, and driveways with steep slopes are all candidates for traction coating. The right product can lower slip risk substantially without obvious texture change.

  • Pool decks and surrounds
  • Exterior steps and stoops
  • Sloped driveways and walkways
  • Commercial entrances (ADA compliance available)

How it's applied

We blend a fine polymer aggregate (or aluminum-oxide grit for high-traffic areas) into a film-forming sealer at controlled ratios, then apply in two coats. The aggregate is invisible from a few feet away but provides immediate grip underfoot.

Clear vs. tinted options

Clear traction sealer preserves your existing concrete color and looks identical to a normal seal job. Tinted versions can simultaneously refresh faded color and add traction in a single pass — popular for stamped pool decks.
